|If you know someone Swedish who loves machine embroidery, tell them about this set! Please! It has been my desire for some time to record my Swedish heritage in stitches that will grace linens, clothing, etc. This set coordinates with both Swedish Christmas and Folk Art from My Heart so you might enjoy those as well. The dala horse comes with and without the word Grattis. Also, when I was a young girl, my Grandmother taught me the little saying with the fly which you can see at the bottom of the page. I thought it was so very funny and used to say it over and over... still do to my 5 year old Grandson who is learning it and giggling too. It translates: FLY, FOOLISH FLY, FLY AND THE FOOLISH FLY FLEW! I also always loved the 3 crowns so have tried to make them very special The prayer to the right, means so much to me and has taken me through many a time of questioning...... and yes, my great grandmother, Nella, loved to dance!
Creatively Yours, Wendy Meg
